VIA Promoción del Aeropuerto de Vitoria-Gasteiz took part in the 22nd edition of CONNECT Aviation, held in Lublin (Poland) from 17 to 19 February, consolidating its commitment to developing new routes and enhancing the international profile of Alava’s airport.
The Basque presence at the forum also involved Basquetour, alongside Bilbao Air and Bilbao Tourism, reinforcing a joint strategy to promote air connectivity.
During the event, the delegation had its own stand, which served as a meeting point for strategic discussions with airlines, airports, and international operators. In this context, VIA actively worked to position Vitoria Airport as a key gateway to Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava, and the Basque Country.
As a key initiative at this year’s event, Euskadi Basque Country sponsored the forum’s official accreditations and lanyards. This initiative, supported by Basquetour, enhanced brand visibility among more than 800 industry professionals from over 60 countries.
Through this coordinated participation, VIA and Basquetour are strengthening the destination's international profile and advancing the development of new air connectivity opportunities.
