Airline Binter launched its summer service between Vitoria Airport and Gran Canaria on Monday, 15 June. The route will remain in operation until 28 September.
The service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. Flights will depart from Vitoria Airport at 19:05 and arrive in Gran Canaria at 21:15. In the opposite direction, flights will leave Gran Canaria at 14:25 and arrive in Vitoria-Gasteiz at 18:25.
In addition to providing a direct connection between Álava and the Canary Islands, the route offers passengers free onward connections to the rest of the archipelago through Binter’s inter-island network.
Furthermore, Binter’s service represents an attractive connectivity option from Vitoria-Gasteiz to other Atlantic destinations, thanks to the airline’s links with the Portuguese islands and several destinations in Northwest Africa.
With this new summer operation, Vitoria Airport continues to expand its destination network and strengthen connectivity options for travellers within its catchment area.
