VIA, the Vitoria Airport Promotion Company, has announced that the airline company Volotea will operate a new direct route between Vitoria-Gasteiz and Menorca from 1 June 2026. This new route will strengthen the range of flights available from Álava airport and enhance travel options during the summer season.
The airline will operate two flights a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, with a total capacity of approximately 13,000 seats across 72 flights throughout the season. With this new route, Volotea is consolidating its presence at Vitoria Airport and further strengthening its commitment to the Balearic Islands.
Thanks to this new connection, the airline will operate three routes from Vitoria-Gasteiz, linking the city with Madrid, Barcelona and, now, Menorca, thereby improving Álava’s connectivity both nationally and for tourism.
Tickets will be available from Thursday, 23 April, via the airline’s website and the usual sales channels.
