VIA, Vitoria Airport Promotion Company, is participating in the sixth edition of the Turespaña Convention, held in Zaragoza from 20 to 22 October 2026, under the theme "Do You Speak Global? International Tourism as a Driver of Transformation."
This event brings together representatives from the public and private sectors to exchange experiences and discuss the main challenges and opportunities facing Spain’s tourism industry.
This year’s edition focuses on the internationalisation of tourism, addressing topics such as the evolution of source markets, destination competitiveness, innovation and public-private collaboration to move towards a more sustainable and competitive tourism model.
VIA’s participation in this event reinforces its commitment to tourism development in Álava and the Basque Country through the promotion of Vitoria Airport, the enhancement of air connectivity and collaboration with tourism stakeholders to attract visitors and strengthen the destination’s visibility in both domestic and international markets.
